On the 7th of October, we had an incredible High Tea at Tiffany’s in Maleny, with the stunning backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains, all in the spirit of raising funds for Bravery Buddies. What a day it was!
Our wonderful MC, Rebecca Grisman, got things rolling with an amazing sabrage display that left everyone in awe. And the food at the high tea? It was absolutely delicious, with a mouthwatering variety to choose from. If you’re a tea lover, you were in paradise with the extensive tea selection available.
The cherry on top was 14-year-old Phoebe Rose, who wowed us all with her remarkable country folk music talents. What a voice!
Local businesses from the Sunshine Coast chipped in with some amazing prizes that had everyone’s eyes twinkling. The best part? We raised over $2500! That’s enough to cover the cost of more than 80 companion dolls for kids fighting cancer.
A big shout-out to the businesses that gave those wonderful prizes, and a massive thank you to Tiffany’s Maleny for being such fantastic hosts. Of course, we can’t forget to mention all who bought tickets and joined us to support Bravery Buddies. You made the day a truly remarkable one, filled with warmth, love, and a sense of community. It’s days like these that show the incredible impact we can make together!
